9.What do I do with a found animal?

If you find an animal running loose, please contact our dispatch center at 575-616-7155 and request an Animal Services Officer. It is safer for the animal and you not to contact an unknown animal. As they may be injured or scared and do not know you.  If the animal is picked up in the location where the animal is found, we have a better chance of locating the owner.
